Chiara Piezzo is a Software Engineer at the Engineering Technology & Digital Projects Group of Leonardo's Cyber and Security Solutions.

Holding one degree in Japanese Language and one in Computer Engineering, she got an European Master in Advanced Robotics, a Double Degree Diploma, at University of Genova and École centrale de Nantes.

After being awarded a Monbukagakusho Scholarship by the Japanese Government, she received her PhD in Human Robot Interaction at the University of Tsukuba, authoring research papers in international proceedings and journals.

Since she joined Leonardo in 2021, she has been specializing in Cloud Computing, obtaining AWS and Red Hat certifications, and she has been working on Secure by Design products.
