Umberto works in the R&D, Grants and Collaboration area of Leonardo's Cyber & Security Solutions in which he holds the role of technical manager of the Cyber Innovation and Prototyping Laboratory. Umberto has twenty years of experience in software design and development and uses his knowledge in the study of defense and attack systems on OT and IoT systems. He is also part of the development team of automatic attack solutions within Leonardo's Cyber Range project. In 1999 he earned an Electronic Engineering degree from the the University of Genoa and in 2017 a II level University Master in Cyber-Security and Data Protection.
